Showing the old, the new, and the dreamlike….
From Northern Iran, and the dowry chests of village women, came the eponymous Mazandaran kilims. The designs of these heirlooms are reminiscent of works by major 20thcentury Western artists such as Mark Rothko, Gerhard Richter, Sean Scully…
In a quest to capture the beauty of these treasures, preserve the knowledge of this ancient craft and empower our women weavers in Iran, we developed our own rendition with the “Dream Kilims” collection launching today.
Through this exhibition we are also introducing our latest development:
The Tribal and Ethnic Moroccan Weave collection.
